Review summary
What an enjoyable holiday experience. We boarded the Carnival Victory in Puerto Rico and were greeted by the most friendly people who made us feel like our holiday was the most important thing to them. We had a balcony stateroom which was great, lots of storage space so the room never felt cluttered and sitting out on the balcony as we pulled out of ports was lovely. The evening meals in the dining room were the central part of each evening, the quality and variety of food was superb and our waiters were fantastic - both highly professional and so much fun! The southern Caribbean trip that we were on stopped at a new location every day which really suited us, 3 of the days we took Carnival excusions and the other days we did our own thing. The most memorable excursion was on the first morning when we got a boat from St. Thomas to Tortola and went swimming with Dolphins - what an amazing experience. Our best beach days were relaxing in St. Kitts and St. Martin on white sand beaches enjoying what the Caribbean is all about. As a couple in our late 20's/early 30's this was the ideal ship for us. There were many similarly aged people on board and we made some great friends relaxing by the casino bar in the evenings after dinner. There was plenty of entertainment on the ship too, varying from comedy to magicians and music shows. Overall, we had a great stress free and relaxing holiday on the Carnival Victory, we got to see new place, meet new people and have a great time. I would definitely recommend it.Ship experiences
