CCL Valencia exceeded my expiration, which I haven't experienced in many years with the cruise lines industry. CCL Valencia brought back Great memories on the original Jubilee back in 1989. Wow to the Chef and the Great food every single day and night! Wow again.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Stayed in same cabin back to back. The back to back met in the Marco Polo Dining Room just about 50 feet from the gangway walkway. Was guided by a CCL staff member and took a short walk to customs for the quick reconciliation camera and back onboard in less the 10 minutes.

Food and Dining

All the food products served were Great!
This was our 27th cruise and the 18th on CCL. The Staff was fantastic. The Short Ribs, Prime Ribs, and Filet Mignon, melted in your mouth. The deserts were awesome. And the same for the Ledo Deck. The deserts were eye cathing when displayed on the Ledo Deck and even hard to believe the tasted better then they looked. The Pizza Station in the Aft of the Ledo Deck was Great too. They only offered Margarita, Pepperoni, Mushroom, and White Garlic pies. Which was great tasting, but I found out from seeing a passenger bringing different toppings from the buffet and they added them to their pies for you. Game changer, as good as the pies where, I brought green / red s and sliced onions from the buffet and added it to the margarita pie and Wow! Even better!

Ship tip
If you are not in a rush to get off get the latest bag tags and avoid the customs lines at the check point.
Always enjoy Margaritaville pool and drinks along with the Beach with in walking distance of the ship and Margaritaville. So you can get sandy form the ocean and get the salty water off by going to Margaritaville pool and enjoy a drink or two.
Everything is with in walking distance and if you go to the left there's a great pool area and like Margaret vile you can also relax and have a few drinks.
Very very crowded. Only our ship was docked and even though they had about 10 cocking areas which were very well set up the lines were extremely long for the hot food. 100's of people on each line and took over 30 minutes to reach the food buffet. The workers had lots of food for everyone but took too long to get there. I would recommend eat on the ship and get off to enjoy the water and excursions. Never seen a private island so packed.
