Review summary

From the time we landed we were hit with obstacles. we were threatened upon arriving at the airport, bus was 2 hrs late picking us up, stood in very long lines just to board the ship. Was hoping to put the phones away and not be bothered with them the time we were on the ship only to find out in order to make dinner reservations or needed to request anything we had to have our phones with us. we were informed that the smoking in the casino would not affect us in our cabin because of the air purifiers they have on the ship, however they were not that good because we were overwhelmed everyday with smoke. I often cruise and love cruising, but this did not leave a favorable taste in my mouth.

We arrived late due to our Carnival rep not meeting us at the airport on time. Therefore we were held up in a line that was over 2 hrs long to get on the ship.

Main dining room - food often came out cold, not seasoned very bland. We tried the Bonsai Sushi one night (had to pay more for it) but that was the best dining experience we had on the ship

Onboard Activities

For 3 days at sea both going and coming back there were not alot of options to do on the ship. if we decided to play Bocce ball there were kids everywhere running on the playing area and often picking up the balls we were using. Also, the cruise director did not have different options of games or activities to do on board. Often everything was just repeated.

did not travel with kids however the kids on the ship didnt seem to take part in the activies as they were always underfoot.

The staff did their best, however the only thing we really received was apologies.

Ship Quality

This was horrible. The Atrium was very small and tight. The "Smoking Casino" was a nusiance. I am highly allergic to smoke and had to often go through the casino to get from one end of the ship to the other.
