I've cruised with Carnival before and has happy with the service I received. This cruise, however, was the worst service I ever received from ANY of the multiple companies I've cruised with.

Saturday: Noticed no electrical outlet by the bed for those of us that must sleep with medical devices. I was told to go to Guest Services. After waiting in a long line, I spoke with Angus. I informed him of my need for an extension cord and for an itinerary (which was not in my room). He assured me one would be sent to my room. He also directed me to go to the bar and request an itinerary. I went to the bar, waited in another line, only to be told by Jordan that the bar never has itineraries.
On my way back to my room, I asked 3 employees where the room was located. All 3 gave me incorrect directions.
By 11:35 p.m. (over 8 hours after my initial request with Angus, I STILL did not have an extension cord in my room. I called Guest Services for that extension cord at 11:36 p.m., but no one answered. Called again at 11:40 but no answer. I finally called Room Service at 11:41, and they finally sent someone over with it.
Sunday: The elevators had an unacceptable wait time. I walked from the 1st floor to the 10th floor and got there quicker than those waiting for the elevator. In addition, there were 8 people in line waiting for the ice cream machine and none of them were able to figure out how to use it. Simple posted directions could have resolved this quickly. Furthermore, I still could not get service to access the Carnival APP, so had to wait in line (to make a reservation) every time I wanted to eat in the restaurant. When I went to Guest Services, I witnessed Angus (the same individual I spoke with the day before) become snippy with another customer.
Monday: The second bathroom sink clearly indicated the direction for Cold Water. However, when I followed those directions, I scalded my mouth on Hot Water.
Tuesday: I noticed the toilet had very weak pressure and requested someone to come and fix and unclog it. I waited until 4:30 a.m. and no one came to resolve the issue, forcing us to leave our room and use public restrooms.

Ship tip
Based on my prior cruises with Carnival, the quality has diminished.
The fun times can be found at or near guest services and several bars as well as other locations throughout the ship. They’re usually placed in a plastic stand holder.
For someone that cruised with Carnival previously, you should know there are never outlets by the bed. You should have brought your own extention cord.
I'm just thinking, if that was the worst you've ever experienced - you've been pretty lucky. Why wouldn't you have just brought your own extension cord?
