Excellent cruise overall! Fun, things to do, good food, beautiful ship and reasonably priced. Would return to this ship and cruise-line again.
Embarkation
5 out of 5
Curb to ship took only 15 minutes. We arrived at the start our designated boarding time.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
The Canal Grande dining room was very nice with great views of the water or gondola and nightly entertainment by the wait staff. Food was good, not great. We did not eat at any specialty restaurants. Pizza and burger joints were very good. All you can eat ice cream was wonderful. No big lines on the buffet.
Onboard Activities
5 out of 5
We enjoyed the 9-hole mini golf and played multiple times. Quick course, average difficulty. There were many activities to choose from but we did not have enough time to enjoy them all.
Entertainment
5 out of 5
Main show in the theater each night was very good. We went to them all and saw the Family Feud show a second time since we enjoyed it so much. Comedy act Jaelyn was not very funny. The string trio, pianist and female singer who performed by the atrium bar were all wonderful musicians. Although we did not plan to watch them perform we always stopped and stayed to listen when we heard them as we passed by. Also went to two trivia programs that were fun, low pressure, and well attended.
Children's Programs

Service and Staff
4 out of 5
They were all OK. Friendly enough. Wait staff could fill up people's water glasses during dinner more often. With My Time Dining we did not get to know them the way we have on other cruises where you have the same wait staff each evening.
Ship Quality
5 out of 5
Excellent. New ship is still in the Inaugural season with Carnival. Very clean. Staff was often vacuuming and wiping down surfaces in pubic areas.
Cabin / Stateroom
5 out of 5
Very pretty. Cleaned once per day. Comfortable beds arranged the way we requested upon arrival, and enough outlets.
Ship tip
Make sure to see NYC skyline, Statue of Liberty and the bridge as you leave and return to the port. It is amazing!
Top 10 of St. John's Excursion-long day but very interesting and worth it. We saw everything and had an excellent tour guide with time to eat and shop too.
Clean city, kind and welcoming locals. Very quick and easy process to leave and return to the ship.
We chose the option to carry off our luggage thinking it would be fastest, but despite arriving to the port and beginning disembarkation early, after nearly 1 1/2 hours our muster station still had not been called and they had even begun calling luggage tag numbers! We finally asked staff if we could leave with another group and they said yes-so we did. The process was very easy and quick after that. With taxis available right outside to get us to our destination.
