Review summary

Overall, for it to be a new ship to the carnival fleet, I don't think I'll be sailing on this particular ship again. I'll stick to the other Carnival ships. On a good note, I got to meet a few of the YouTube Content Creators since this was the inaugural cruise. So that was pretty cool.

Embarkation was fast and smooth. It took a total of 15 mins from the terminal to boarding the ship.

Carnival is carnival and for those who've been know that the food is going to be just ok and not the greatest. I did enjoy the deli's meatball sandwich. It was delicious.

My cabin was nice. I love the cove balconies. Only complaint was that the next door balcony door that was connected to ours kept opening so I had to keep one of the lounge chairs against it to keep it from banging.

Ship tip

For some reason they had K-9 dogs in this ship which I have never seen before. This was my 3rd time sailing Carnival and 2nd time out of N.Y. & I never experienced that before. They were on every floor sniffing the outside of cabins as well as the decks! Not sure if this is going to be the new norm 🤔

Despite the nasty weather, we did the Segway excursion around the area for a little bit until it started pouring. We stopped at several spots and took pictures. Our tour guide Kai was such a pleasant and friendly guy.
