A: We'll be on Venezia in a few weeks, I've been reading mixed reviews on the food. I think the negative has more to do with people expecting too much from a post pandemic cruise or just having a higher expectation than reality.

A: Currently on Venezia right now. The food is just ok. There are burgers, tacos and a buffet with a decent variety. The Italian restaurant was nice - large portions and offers a different menu. There’s a daiquiri bar called rococo - it was pretty bus... y the whole cruise. There’s a “hidden” lunch option like the la Estrada- right outside of II Viaggio - it was decent.See More

A: Not a GF, but have multiple food allergies (all seafoods, soy, mushrooms, certain cheeses, strawberries +) & can say the main dining & specialty restaurants on Carnival have all gone above & beyond to accommodate. Just talk to a host on embarkation d... ay @ the open question session about 1:30pm @ the MDR about dietary concerns. You might have to order the night before for special preparation.See More

A: Stay away from buffet on embarkation day. It’s chaotic. If you want quiet lunch, one of the dining rooms should be open. You can check the app once onboard.

A: I eat at the lido buffet when first getting on the ship. Embarkation day has the best desserts at the buffet out of all the days. I eat breakfast in the main dining room the rest of the trip.

A: From Carnival’s website... Chocolate Extravaganza Buffetat the Lido Marketplace is a chocolate buffet featured on the last day at sea of 6-day cruises and longer only.
Answered by esrescuer on August 8, 2023
A: It's not as spectacular as it was years ago when they would set up extra stations around the pool areas. Check your FunTimes carefully as it is only held for 1.5-2 hours at the Sweet Spot station in the buffet only on the last day of cruises of 6 day... s or more.See More

A: We could only hear the music during the “showtimes” in the main dining room every night and those last like 4 mins and happened between 7-9. BUT, you are right above the engines and when leaving a port; while the engines start for 10 mins your room... will shake a bit, not a lot but be a bit careful with some loose items on tables and you might hear the engines humming trough out the cruise but we loved it:)See More
Answered by Cruiser4eva on August 22, 2023
A: But maybe it will be different for you because the ship was brand new when we sailed so the engines have probably toned down
