We'll be on Venezia in a few weeks, I've been reading mixed reviews on the food. I think the negative has more to do with people expecting too much from a post pandemic cruise or just having a higher expectation than reality.

Dining room had great food. Only did buffet for breakfast and I was not impressed.

Not a GF, but have multiple food allergies (all seafoods, soy, mushrooms, certain cheeses, strawberries +) & can say the main dining & specialty restaurants on Carnival have all gone above & beyond to accommodate. Just talk to a host on embarkation day @ the open question session about 1:30pm @ the MDR about dietary concerns. You might have to order the night before for special preparation.

Currently on Venezia right now. The food is just ok. There are burgers, tacos and a buffet with a decent variety. The Italian restaurant was nice - large portions and offers a different menu. There’s a daiquiri bar called rococo - it was pretty busy the whole cruise. There’s a “hidden” lunch option like the la Estrada- right outside of II Viaggio - it was decent.

even though the ship is only 4 years old it's very outdated, found it to be dirty cabin Steward is few and far between, the food leaves a lot to be desired and the entertainment is okay, I do not recommend the ship
