The Valor is stately and clean and it was amazing. Would definitely do it again.

Embarkation

First time to cruise and it was the easiest process ever. From the parking garage Porter's to getting on the ship, it was so easy. We were actually able to board before our appointed 11:30 scheduled time.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

The food was good and there was plenty of it. However, it was cold at times. Now the Steakhouse is worth every penny ($38.00). It was exceptional.

Service and Staff

In the dining room we had Jefferson and he was awesome. He went above and beyond and remembered everyone's name. We had a balcony room in the perfect place (9269) and we had Bagus and Phyo who were both so good. Very professional and took care of our every need.

It was awesome. Did find the decor a little dated but the balcony room is definitely a must. It had a blow dryer and fridge.

It was horrible. We did get off ship, took the free buses available to your downtown but didn't get off bus. It was scary and sketchy. If I'm ever there again will definitely book a Carnivsl sanctioned excursion.
