Very enjoyable. I only wish Carnival would allow individuals to purchase the Drink package rather than requiring ALL in the cabin to do so. My wife & Mother don't really drink so in all i bought 5 mixed drinks individually. Rather than them making $260, i only spent $35 on Alcohol.

Although the Amenities on board have diminished over the years with the advent of Specialty Dining, the waitstaff was Excellent . Sinawon, Inyoman & Iwayne made this a Fantastic Cruise dining experience.

As a Platinum Cruiser & cruising since 1985, hands down our Room Steward ACHMAD provided probably the Best Service we have had on any cruise. Personal & Friendly, his daily Smiles & greetings were infectious and made us feel loke family. He kept our room spotless & took excellent care of my mother who was traveling with us and had special needs. He went Over and Above his Duties and Deserves Special Recognition.

Comfortable size & design, Super clean due to our excellent Room Stuart "Achmad"
DO NOT use Target Car Rental. Their vehicles are poor quality & in Disrepair. ALAMO definitely has the best Vehicles to rent BUT Do Not use the Suggested Pemex Gas Station across the street from the Terminal. They waive all Tourist to 2 particular pumps which are recalibrated to inaccurate Rates. Best to just pay $15 to avoid fuel costs or refuel elsewhere. As always, we always visit the "Blue Angel" dive club for excellent Nachos, Atmosphere, Scuba & Snorkeling for experienced divers. For inexperienced snorkelers who as re looking for a sandy Entrance with few rocks, "Playa Corona" south of the pier along the beach road is remote & perfect.
Not great for clear water but the beach is nice to sit & have a beer, snacks & roaming vendors. DON'T fall for the "You have to pay $50 to sit here routine" Tell them you'll purchase food & drinks to stay. Great for Shopping & bargaining. On the Main road to the beach from the bus dropoff, be sure to Visit the Leather Shop owned / operated by Richard ( former Floridian who moved to Progresso years ago ) Great handmade quality Leather Bags, Purses, belts ect: at great prices.
I would like it if they had a small drink package, like 20 drinks per cabin for a 5 day cruise. 2 drinks a day for a couple. I guess they wouldn’t make any money then..
