Review summary

This was a bucket list item for me. A New Years Eve Party that was like the ones I had seen on TV. I urge everyone to do at least 1 New Years Cruise in their lifetime.

The food at restaurant was great. The pizza was really good but the hamburgers from Guy's was the best. The drinks were good also

We enjoyed the pool on the Lido deck - the music was great and the contests were fun.

The DJ's at pool were really good. There was a trio that played violins that were amazing.

My granddaughter loved the kids club - she wanted to be there instead of hanging around the pool with me.

The waiter at the Washington restaurant was fantastic and our room steward was the best - he knew all our names after about 5 minutes.

WE had 4 people in our cabin - not my first choice but we booked too late to get two cabins close to each other but with the help of our steward, we made it work.

Ship tip

Best advice I can give is to order the bottled water to be delivered to your cabin and to bring your own cokes on board.

I love Cozumel and have visited many many times but this time was disappointing - the excursion to Paradise was not as good as before. Too many people and not enough lounge chairs for everyone

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

I've never liked Progresso before but this time it was wonderful - we took the All Inclusive Beach Resort - the water was warm and clam, the beach was wonderful and the food and drinks wee also wonderful
