Review summary

For our first cruise, it was relaxing enough that we'd definitely do it again.

Embarkation

4 out of 5
Easy nothing to complain about

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food was average nothing to get excited over. Drinks were ok ( glad we didn't the package since we only had maybe 2 each per day $150vs$600 )

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Pools were small and over crowded( mainly with little kids), no rock wall on this cruise. Gym was nice , a little cramped if others were present. We did see a comedy how which was good. It was nice watching a movie on main deck.

Entertainment

4 out of 5
DJ's too loud, acoustically not balanced properly. If you were drunk you wouldn't notice but as a fan of music you could tell the settings were not matched properly

Children's Programs

Did not bring our children on this trip

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Staff was great, very accommodating and helpful. Always pleasant and smiling and attentive. 5 stars there

Ship Quality

4 out of 5
Crew were constantly cleaning. Despite ships obivous age , it was well cleaned/maintained. Though I was a little frustrated when trying to throw away garbage if walking through the ship. No accessible garbage cans.

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Very clean Not as cramped as I expected. Only complaint is I would like more outlets.

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

4 out of 5
Nice, area is being renovated. Close to French Quarters Great place to stay a few days before or after cruise.

Cozumel, Mexico

5 out of 5
Surprisingly super clean. Most annoying issue are the "Shopkeepers" hounding you to enter or view their goods. Damn, son if I'm interested I'll look how many times I got to say "No, gracias" before it turns into "dèjame, to @$%%$")

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

4 out of 5
Did an excursion to see Chichen Itza & Cenote. My main complaint is not given enough time to see the ruins without guide.

Disembarkation

4 out of 5
Fairly good and easy. We carried our own bags so to speed up process. Getting our liquor was a bit disorganized but since we were first 10 in line, it wasn't as frustrating as it was for others
