Cruise was wonderful except the poor service from the bars on Lido deck and lack of waiters getting drink orders on Lido. Food in MDR was not too good. Buffett was better than MDR for breakfast. Kevin... cruise director...was awesome and Georgia at karaoke was great. Bagus...our steward was wonderful. In Cozumel next time I would choose something different than Mr Sancho's but the beach was breath taking! Overall... the ship was clean and beautiful...very ornate. I will definitely cruise again on the Valor!!

We had FTTF and it was WELL worth the price!! We were on the ship and in our rooms by 11am! We brought our own luggage with us so we were able to unpack and explore the ship before everyone else.

Food and Dining

GUYS burgers were the best. The steak house was excellent. However.. the rest was a bit less desirable. I had to go to the bar for EVERY DRINK on the lido deck....and was still charged 18% gratuity! In the clubs the service was fine.

Cabin steward was great. Drink service was poor if u were on Lido deck (Very disappointed with that). Then on Lido it took a long time to get waited on. :( All other areas drink service was good. Dining room service was excellent!

Loved this ship. Will sail on her again.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had balcony cabin 9262 on the Lido deck. Couldn't have asked for better cabin location! We did have a fan running at all times and kept the curtain closed. By doing this, our cabin stayed nice and cool. I would DEFINITELY try to get this same room again.
Ship tip
Take snacks! Multiple times I wished I had pringles or a candy bar. Also.. bring the magnetic hooks/clamps. I also wished I had brought my own cokes since it was such a chore to get one on lido. If u will drink more than 4 alcoholic drinks a day...go ahead and buy the drink pkg.... I wished I would have!! It's worth it if u drink at least 4 per day. Drinks are average $12 each.
Beautiful! Went to Mr Sancho's. It was beautiful but my service there was not what I was expecting. We were located in a very sunny area...would have prefered seating in a shady area. I felt like we were placed there because we used an outside agency to book it instead of directly through Mr Sancho's. Drinks only on the rocks. We did snorkeling excursion that was wonderful at Mr Sancho's. We were ripped off by taxi driver who was supposed to charge us $17 for the ride. He charged us double! We left Sancho's early and went shopping.
Cheapest place to buy vanilla. Beautiful water. Lots of ppl trying to get the most $$ they can from u! Don't pay what they are asking. Go way low and they will take it or not!
If you go to Sancho's be sure to book through their site. We were treated differently for sure...we booked through another site. I would ask to have a table in the middle section for sure so u can get out of the sun for a while. And... just know that the cab fee is $17 each way no matter how many ppl are in the cab.
No... we did not get to choose a place to be seated. We got there just as they opened to. They placed us to the left... in the sun... at a plastic white table with an umbrella over it. We were placed in front of the inflatables....
Yes.. we asked to be placed in a more shady spot. They put us at the table behind us... which was slighlty better but we were definitely not seated in the all inclusive area... which we paid for... which was much nicer. Yes... we asked the cab driver..he said it was $17 for each person. We later found out that he should have charged us $17 for both of us.
You didn't get to choose where you wanted to be seated at Mr Sanchos? And did you ask how much taxi was before getting in?
Going in Febr so curious what to maybe expect although everyone has a different experience.
