Review summary

Carnival Valor is an older ship and it is showing. Windows on the 5th deck were always dirty and streaked and ruins any viewing pleasure. I could see rust every where I looked. There would be technicians working on things all the time. You could spot them in their coveralls doing maintenance.

Buffet was good. Liked the BBQ and Guy's burgers. Pizza Pirate it always good.

Very good coffee. Usually got a large cup of fresh brewed with a shot of caramel. I went to put two packets of sweet and low in and the coffee girl was trying to stop me, saying that the caramel was already sweet. Dammit, I'm an American I like it a little sweeter!

Did not leave the shopping area past the docks. Did it the last time I went on a cruise there and it wasn't worth the trouble.

Did not get off the ship, not even to visit the dock shopping area. Did it the last time went on a cruise there and was nervous about it the whole time. Lots of shady people and armed federales driving by did not bring me any confidence.

It’s a ship in the salt water constantly. It’s going to get rusty. They keep up with it the best they can. Look at other ships and other lines. It happens to them also
