We mainly only at buffet at breakfast and it was good. BBQ was really good. Guys Burgers were amazing. Unlimited ice cream a huge hit for the kids as well as the 24/7 pizza. The food highlight of our trip was dinner service in the dining room. Our waiters were Freddie, Ronaldo, and Juan. Our kids loved Freddie they talked about him the entire trip and couldn't wait to see him at dinner. They joked with the kids and got them dancing at showtime!

Pools were pretty cold but it didn't stop the kids from swimming although the salt water did hurt their eyes. The hot tubs were amazing except normally extremely full and parents not watching their kids in them rough housing and using like a swimming pool. All 3 of our kids ages 12, 10, and 5 loved the kids clubs!
Entertainment

We went to the 70s production, country, and rock show and all 3 were spectacular! We also made it to the Hasbro Gameshow which was the kids favorite! The violinist were also a highlight since my 12 year old daughter plays so it was especially cool for her to see how they played fun music not just classical.
Children's Programs

Circle C was great for our 12 year old. She made several friends and had a great time being able to sign out and get pizza and ice cream with them. Her favorite was the scavenger hunts. We also had a child in sting rays (6-8) and one in sharks (9-11) and most of their activities were together. Both of them 5 almost 6 and 10 years old loved their clubs and didn't want to leave.
Service and Staff

Again our favorite staff was Freddie, Ronaldo, and Juan in the Washington Dining room. They went above and beyond to make sure our needs were met. Our kids still keep asking when we will see Freddie again!

Everything was very clean I always saw a crew member cleaning up things almost instantly.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had connecting rooms which worked out perfect with the 3 kids. I only wish they had a suite large enough to occupy us all. However we had plenty of room to spread out and having 2 bathrooms showers were done more quickly.
Ship tip
Give it chance! Your vacation is what you make it and just because you don't like one small thing don't let it ruin your whole trip!
We did an excursion through Carnival for peace of mind. We went to Isla Pasion and highly reccomend to everyone! We loved the beaches soft white sand. Had the best guacamole I've ever had! And of course unlimited drinks and buffet which based on reviews I thought would be awful but we all found things we liked and it was delicious and that's saying a lot from 4 picky eaters!
Having been here before we decided to not get off the ship at this port. Last minute we thought about taking the last minute excursion offered by carnival but they sold out when I went to the desk to book. Oh well we enjoyed having the pools and hot tubs to ourselves and took much needed long naps 😊
Because of a medical emergency we docked earlier that expected and disembarked an hour early. Which actually worked out well for us. Getting to the gangway was the hardest part since some people were crowding when it wasn't their time to go and the elevators were congested. However once we got in line they had us out very quickly! The staff did a great job directing and keeping the line moving. Now if only passengers followed directions and didn't always put themselves first.....
Glad the kids enjoyed it as well as u. We took our kids for their first cruise in August. & now they’re hooked waiting for the next one. NOT! Next one is for mama & daddy only. Can’t wait!!!!
