Review summary

So much fun. I love the Valor and its crew. That plus the fact that I live within sight of the port makes this one of my go-to options for vacation.

Embarkation

I chose one of the latest check-in times and it was wonderful. Drove right up to the terminal and walked right through the check-in and immediately on the ship.

Onboard Activities

I LOVED the shopping seminars and shopping on the ship. This was only my 2nd cruise and I didn't do a lot of shopping on the first. But Kelsey was very informative and helpful about where to shop in Cozumel and even picked up our jewelry packages so we didn't have to walk around the city with them.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
The one part of the cruise in which I was disappointed. As a musician and a fan of musicals and music revues, I thought the artists would be of a higher caliber. I was only able to sit through 1/2 of the country show because the vocalists were so out of tune and not with the music (beat).

Lucky you, we spend more just getting to the port than we do on the cruise. 😕

So convenient to live close to a departure port. Come retirement day though, I will be moving closer.
