Review summary

Going on cruise for first time was great! I felt the tour packages we bought through Carnival did not give enough guidance in what to expect for tour. We were most disappointed in the bar staff by the pool. Not friendly and ignored you for as long as they could. Most of the bat staff did not smile or acknowledge you until they had too.

We didn’t enjoy the valor either. Disembarkation was a disaster and totally unorganized. I left a review (back in December) but for some reason it’s gone. I love Carnival, but I plan to stick to the nicer and newer ships. We love the Magic and plan to sail with the Breeze next.

I have to agree about the bar staff by the pool. Same thing happened to my husband. This male bartender kept ignoring him when trying to order. He'd even ask my husband his order and walk off and not get it. He did it 3 times. It was off putting but didn't ruin our cruise. We're seasoned cruisers and know that sometimes this can happen.
