Review summary

We always enjoy our cruises on Carnival and this one was no exception. However, the Valor, being an older ship could use a little more detailed cleaning. I noticed the stainless steel sheet metal (used extensively) needs to be cleaned using more than just a wipe down. scouring pads or heavier. the Glass windows surrounding the dining and pool areas need a heavy cleaning. The window framing in same area needs some degreaser used, as well as some of the tables. When the light hits it just right you can see the buildup and rings from cups. The staff as always was great! our room steward, Wayan, was super! The food was very good especially in the dining rooms. Our wait staff, Nengah, I Made, and Arial were terrific! We enjoyed the ports of call and the on ship entertainment was very good too!  Overall we had another very memorable trip on a Carnival Fun Ship!

very clean. Our room steward Wayan gave great service

Ship tip

Late dining is great so that you don't feel rushed to make the early dining if out for a long day at port or just hanging out by the pool areas. However it doesn't work very well for attending the shows in the Theater. They need to adjust times to accommodate late diners better.

I was dry docked at the end of April till May 8th. Just too many people not satisfied with what they saw I guess. It's a vacation, quit complaining. Lol. Enjoy aronpam. I'll be getting on the valor just as your getting off when you come back.
