Review summary

Although we love to cruise, our recent Carnival Valor cruise was not one of our favorites.   The best part of this cruise was we were with our kids and grandkids.  The dining room service left something to be desired.  Very slow, and each night someone at are table did not get something they had ordered.  The meals were nothing to brag about.  Entertainment was either too much at once, or nothing at all.  The highlight for food on this cruise was the grill Iin The back of the ship.  Roadies restaurant.  Best hamburgers at sea.   Our room steward was always very attentive to us.  Made our cruise enjoyable.  I will not recommend this ship to anyone looking for a Carnival cruise.  We are Platinum level with Carnival, so this was not our first Carnival cruise.  We have cruised NCL as well as RCCL.  Carnival has really gone down hill in the recent years.
