Excellent Vacation

Room Type: Balcony

We had a blast on our cruise last week.  Lots of Ports of Call, lots of great food and the most wonderful balcony suite anyone could ever ask for!!  It's a huge ship and when you are in the back of the boat, that corridor is really, REALLY long.  But it was extra steps so we could eat that much more, right???

Each Port and Island had their own flavor.  We booked excursions at each location and I'm glad we did.  We got to see much of each island and learn a bit about the history and meet some very friendly islanders.

There was plenty to do onboard if you wanted, and we spent more of our time in our suite because we had a balcony and could see some wonderful things.  I am sure we'll never go back to a plain oceanview ever!!  Bingo was fun as was spending a bit of time in the casino.  We aren't big shoppers so I can review the shops.  And the food was FABULOUS!!

We loved it. It was on a corner, so we had about 50 feet of balcony; enough for two loungers, two chairs and a table. And still plenty of room to walk around!
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Don't miss Arecibo and Old San Juan
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
We loved the day on the beach, but it wasn't long enough!!
Bridgetown, Barbados
Foursquare Rum is the BEST tour. The grounds were beautiful! The mahogany carver was fascinating!
Castries, St. Lucia
Beautiful, lush island. The tour and catamaran were AWESOME!! Try the banana ketchup!!
Basseterre, St. Kitts
We were excited for the Railway trip, but it wasn't that great. Probably least favorite of all the islands!
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Loved the beach on the French side. Wish we'd had more time to stay there!

Tip

Get there early and learn the ship early. Not all elevators go to all floors!!
