Review summary
Overall, this is a fantastic cruise with a great itinerary! This was our 6th cruise and we had an enjoyable week.
We had a balcony stateroom, with 2 adults and 1 teenager. Room location was mid ship on the Empress Deck, on the odd number cabin side. We had no noise and very smooth sailing. Excellent views when docking and departing each day. Would recommend a room on the odd numbered side.
Food - better than previous Carnival cruises. We ate breakfast on the Lido deck and dinner in the dining room. We had excellent dining room service.
Cleanliness - top notch.
Entertainment - a little better than average, but you take this cruise for the ports of call, not the entertainment on board. We miss the steel drum band on the Lido deck.
There were very few children on the cruise (week of June 8th). Older kids activities were not appealing to our daughter, so she never went to the club.
Excellent cruise for the money we paid. Go and enjoy!
