Amazing Tour of the Islands

Sail Date: May 18, 2014

Reviewed: 3 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Suite

The Valor’s tour of the islands is great!  In seven days you tour six Caribbean islands (including Puerto Rico), at a great price.  Compared to Miami or Fort Lauderdale, boarding and disembarking in San Juan by far is the easiest process.  Great Cruise, Great Price, Great Islands.

Ship Quality
My only complaint is the ships décor is somewhat dated. However; very clean and room and services were every good.
Food and Dining
Nothing wrong with the food and nothing great, fruit selection was not as good as I hoped. Steak House, spend the 35.00 dollars for one night, GREAT Dinner!
Service and Staff
Cabin Attendant and Severs some of the best in the industry.
Great Vegas shows.
Onboard Activities
Destinations and Excursions
With the exception of St. Kitts, all the islands were TOP SHELF.
Cabin / Stateroom
We went with a suite for this cruise, best decision we made.
San Juan, Puerto Rico
Sunday is amazing! check in between 1-2, then explore Old San Juan. Fly kites at the Fort and dance on the streets.
Charlotte Amalie, St. Thomas
Once you get out of the docks fun no matter beach or island toour.
Bridgetown, Barbados
Highly recommend the Bajan Open Bus. Two beach tour with a short tour of the island unlimited drinks and a great high energy guide in Nick!
Castries, St. Lucia
Bought a great package from cruise only it was the Soufriere Sail package. Sail, Piton tour, lunch, snorkle, sail, and adult beverages included.
Basseterre, St. Kitts
Train tour is not worth the price. Tour the beaches!
Philipsburg, St. Maarten
Take a cab and spend the day at Sunset beach watching the planes fly over your head. Make sure you are there by 10:00, it gets very crowded later in the day. Lounge chairs and umbrella, 10.00 person, beer 3.00 and mixed drinks 3-4.00, oh yea the beach great white sand!

Do one of the art auctions. Free champagne and you learn a lot of art and differnet artist. Don't worry you are not pressured to buy anything.
