Review summary

This was a low-key and pleasant cruise. The one thing that surprised us was that there were no announcements when we docked at each port to let the passengers be aware of arrival; there also was no announcement of port departure in case someone wanted a photo op. The one low point was discovering that my luggage had been torn open upon loading. When we went to Guest Services they did not suggest an attempt at repair (which has been offered by other cruise lines under such circumstances) and seemed puzzled at what steps to take. We did end up with a credit to our account consisting of an amount approximated from an online search for comparable luggage. Unfortunately we needed luggage for our flight back home so some unnecessary shopping was required. The food was okay but our waiter kept calling us by the wrong name (it was funny the first time). Our room steward was very attentive and never called us by the wrong name. The ports were beautiful, the weather was great, and the seas were calm, so all was good in our little part of the world.
