7 Night Exotic Western Caribbean (Miami Roundtrip)
Sail Date: May 24, 2009
Ship: Carnival Valor
Cabin Type: Balcony
Traveled As: Family (older children)

I feel the layout of the ship was excellent. When you are housing thousands of people the common areas are very important, and I feel every inch of space was used in a creative manner. Very comfortable.

I was unable to do the scuba diving excursion and Carnival refunded the total fee. Our teenage sons loved the Beginners Scuba.

We really enjoyed the snorkeling and the park with the monkeys and birds.

Check out Blue Heaven Restaurant.
Don't Miss: Hemmingway's home, and cats.

The local guides were extremely respectful and helpful.
Don't Miss: The Airboat excursion. Up close and personal with the crocodiles.

Pros: We have just returned from our cruise on the Valor. Our room was quite comfortable (9th floor - Lido deck). Of course the service was great, have no complaints whatsoever. Enjoyed the stops, had lots of interaction with animals.

Cons: No complaints.

Recommends Carnival Valor? Yes!
