Review summary

This was the first cruise for us. We weren't sure what to expect, but Carnival's ship, staff, activities, and overall experience far exceeded our expectations! Already researching and planning for our next trip!

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Loved the food on this cruise. So many options. Amazing burgers, buffet, breakfast, Mexican, etc. And the evening dining room meals were delicious and exciting.

Onboard Activities

5 out of 5
Loved the on-deck movie nights!

Entertainment

5 out of 5
Awesome shows and musicians! Loved the little mini "shows" the staff would put on during meals. Their songs and dances were so fun!

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Every single waiter, steward, and employee that I came in contact with was pleasant, friendly, and competent. Can't say enough about your fantastic staff!

Cabin / Stateroom

5 out of 5
Of course the rooms aren't huge, however, we had plenty of space. They incorporate a great amount of storage space into the rooms! Plenty of outlets for charging. Loved having a balcony! Don't ever want to get a room without one.

Ports of call

New Orleans, Louisiana

5 out of 5

Cozumel, Mexico

4 out of 5
Definitely a tourist trap, but a beautiful place to visit and buy souvenirs. Loved the little restaurant we ate at. No easy way to get to a public beach without paying for an excursion.

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

5 out of 5
In Progreso we did an excursion to the Chichen Itza Mayan ruins. It was an amazing experience! It's a long, hot day of traveling and seeing the sights, but definitely worth it.

Disembarkation

5 out of 5
It takes a while, but it was a very smooth, organized process.
