Review summary

My husband and I were on the Carnival Triumph September 7 - 12 2015. It was our first cruise and we had an amazing time celebrating our 18th Anniversary. Love the towel creations and the crew was great. We can't wait for next year for our second cruise.

Rosebud is right. Also, the vendors at the hotel were not pushy at all. Lots of seashells to find if you like that kind of thing. You can also ask for an extra shot to go into your Rita or piña colada for no extra charge. The drinks are a bit weak.

I would like to do just that. Go and relax at the beach and go into town to do a little sight seeing and explore it at our own pace .

Yes, you can book the excursion when you get to town. There will be a tour guide who gets on your bus when you arrive at the bus depot from the ship. She will go over all the excursions. They work on commission, make sure you make your purchase with her. Also, the Tecnohotel excursion we did left the depot about 10 am.

Thank You rosebud1965 for replying to my question. I have one more question. Can we get an excursion when we get to Progresso? I would like to just go to the beach and relax with my Sisters.

I would suggest look at booking an excursion. there is a little shopping in town but really not a lot to do in Progresso
