Review summary

Triumph is an old ship.  Needs updating or to be put out of service.  Room stewards came to room to clean when we were on balcony having coffee...never announced themselves.  Casino service getting a drink  while playing table very hard to get even after repeated requests.

I'm sure that people don't realize that the people working on these ships are on then 24/7 for 6months at a time. i don't know about everyone else, but I'd have some bad days during that time... probably more bad than good dealing with all those people! the fact that they can remember my name, and are able to remember the smallest thing I've asked for is amazing!! i don't complain about them, but I'd complain about me if i were them. and i try not to be difficult. when we went on our first cruise i didn't realize that for thing was only for if you needed service in your room and i put that thing out every time we left for 3days straight!! having deal with people that don't know what they are doing is annoying but they are champs about it!! and i got better service bar wise on that ship than i do at local bars!!

I am going on my 5th sailing on her in November. I'm so comfortable on that ship. Everything is beautiful and clean so the age doesn't bother me.

I totally understand. I'm cruising on her in a few weeks and I'm excited for my vacation! My husband and I have worked in retail and restaurant service before for a few years so we are all about understanding how to treat the people who work in that kind of field. Sometimes customers are rude or clueless to how things work but I have also come across just plain bad service.

First, not everyone is a professional critic. So whatever experience leaves an impression on someone is what they are going to remember and mention in their review. Second, how do you know it's not legit? Just because you had great service does not mean someone else didn't. Not all service is consistent. Your dealing with individual service from real people not robots.

I'm sailing on the Truimph on the 26th of September yes I know it's old but I read all the info on the ship And yes they have made renovations but old or not that's not going to stop me from having a blast it's what you make of it 🚢😎

You know it gets annoying when people jump on other people's reviews to complain about it being negative. That's why I'm on this app to read honest reviews whether positive or negative. If they don't agree with my experience then I write me own review or keep moving.

kylewright are you on the Paradise now? If so.....LUCKY! !

Thank you for the review timgaffney. Sorry it wasn't what you thought it would be. Sometimes the dream and the reality don't meet nice and neat like we wish it would.

kylewright7652    9 years ago

You were on the balcony, you didn't here their knock on the door and they didn't think anyone was in the room.

Here we go again with another complaint. Before you book your trip, ALL itineraries specifically state the year of the ship. Yes, the triumph is old, however, you should've known this before you set off. Complaining about it will get you nowhere on this site. Secondly, there are "Do Not Disturb" signs that you can place on the outside of the door. The employees will knock, however, maybe since
