Review summary

We had an amazing first cruise riding on the Triumph. The seas were rough and a few in our party got sick, but the crew handled the situation like pros. Our Steward Katut was awesome, as well as our dining staff. The food and experience was amazing.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

5 out of 5
Food variety and quality was very good.

Entertainment

3 out of 5
Shows were canceled due to the rough seas, which we understood. We just wish there was a bit more during sea days, especially the last day.

Service and Staff

5 out of 5
Loved our Steward Katut and the dining staff.

Ship Quality

3 out of 5
Elevators seemed to be broken alot, and blow dryer in room kept stopping. The crew was quick to fix things, but maybe some updating is in need.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The bed was a bit hard - we didn't sleep real well the whole trip. The bathroom was a bit outdated.

Ports of call

Progreso (Merida), Mexico

Next time we would do the Mayan Ruin tour, staying in the local city was not that fun, as people were constantly hounding you to buy things, it got so bad - we just went back to the ship.
Don't Miss: Mayan Ruins - We missed it!

Cozumel, Mexico

Enjoyed the shopping here. Our friends found an intimate beach and said it was awesome. By this time we were just tired of being constantly barked at to buy things from all the shops.
Don't Miss: Shopping

Pros: Loved the Shoppin Talks that guided our Cozumel Shopping experience and great service in the rooms!

Cons: Rough Waters
