Carnival puts on a great cruise!

Sail Date: July 23, 2011

Reviewed: 5 years ago

Traveled As: Couple

Room Type: Inside

Overall the trip was excellent, but my stateroom location was not a good choice. If you can help it, never select a inside stateroom near the elevators and cew access hallways. The noise will keep you up most of the night since the crew works 24 hours a day. The shows and entertainment were excellent. And parents, if you are taking your kids on a cruise, please keep an eye on them. Don't expect everyone else on the cruise to watch them for you.

Pros: The selection of food is excellent as well and the formal dinning rooms

Cons: Never select a state room near the elevators or access halls for the crew. The noise will keep you up most of the night.

Recommends Carnival Triumph? Yes!

Cabin / Stateroom
For the price of the cruise, the beds could be a little bit more comfortable. Other than that, the size and quality of the stateroom was great.
Ship Quality
They kept the ship very clean during the cruise.
Food and Dining
The singing and dancing the wait staff did during the meals was greaat!!!
Couldn't have asked for a better waiter then Atilla!!! And the dining room manager Victor was the best!!!!
Service and Staff
The singing and dance shows, comedians and the magican were excellent!!!
Freeport, Grand Bahama Island
You have to travel 12 miles to get to the showing area and beaches. And if you aren't into shopping, the trip ashore really isn't worth it.
Nassau, Bahamas
Being approached by a local drug dealer as soon as I got into the city is not my idea of a wonderful place to visit.
Key West, Florida
Overall, it was a great port to visit.
