I loved this cruise so much, that me and my boyfriend each booked cruises in October of 2022 and 2023 today.

Me and my mom had an amazing time on the cruise. Me and my mom will be back on the ship on July 4th. The staff was nice and welcoming. Our room steward suhendri was amazing and did an amazing job. The cruise director, TJ was nice, welcoming and fun. TJ was also very helpful if you had a question.

Loved the food, staff and room. At capacity, there are just too many people.

The Sunshine is an older ship and she shows it but the crew works hard to keep her as clean and looking nice as they can. The serenity decks ate great, but there are a lot of chair hogs and holding. Peoe slept in the clay shells overnight to se ure them for ne t sea day. I thought that was a little ridiculous but to each their own. Then, it ended up raining at 9 am and continued to downpour entire day so..... There was talk about rowdy youngsters running amuck all over the ship but we never saw it, luckily. I tried the 24hr pizza place one night and that became our late night snack al.oat every night. Tip the guy a couple dollars because the pizza makers are some of the hardest working of all the food service workers.

I am just so glad to be Cruising again! I met so many amazing people from all over and an a fabulous time cruising with my best friend Jen. (The husbands & college kids stayed home)

The crew was very friendly and the ship was very clean. It seemed a little warm on the ship though

It was a great cruise, enjoyed my self, won a watch from the Fun Shop. Everyone of the staff was great, look forward to selling on the Sunshine again.

Carnival Review 07-14 March 2022 Carnival Sunshine This was our 10th voyage with Carnival Cruise Lines and the 3rd on the Sunshine. The port of Charleston has a wonderful set up for both embarkation and debarkation. The land employees are well trained and both helpful and efficient. This was our second cruise since the restart but the first where masks were not required aboard the ship. We are now 8 days past the end of our cruise and I have heard of zero people with covid. I think that the crew should be able to take their masks off also. The accommodations were excellent, as usual. Food, entertainment and atmosphere were also up to standards. What Carnival did well: Provided an excellent vacation for both my wife and I. Food was delicious and plentiful throughout the day and night. Entertainment was fantastic as always. What Carnival did not so well: Provide the promised 50th Sailabration food, entertainment and presents to guests. I see that the pins will be mailed out 6-8 weeks from now and I thank you for that. The military appreciation event did not have the pins either and that would have been nice for my collection. Team members that went above and beyond their duties: Laura Pancu (Guest Services) was amazing at fixing problems and actually remembered us by name from our previous cruise in January. Marissa (Asst. Cook/Philippines) did an amazing job while on duty behind a buffet on the Lido. An elderly lady needed assistance and Marissa left her station and assisted the lady. Once the situation was stable she got her boss, notified him that the lady needed more assistance that was beyond her and then returned to her station. I was so impressed with this young lady I tracked down her immediate officer in charge and told him what she did! Last thoughts: Please consider using a shorter down rod on the pendant lights on the Lido buffet. I watched no less that 10 passengers bang their heads on the lights as they were leaving their tables. Thank you for a wonderful cruise and I look forward to sailing this September on the Legend!

This cruise was for the 50th birthday Sailabration. Over all I give this cruise a 8 out of 10. The staff was amazing as always. There were quite a few technical issues and the ship is a bit run down. But I would definitely cruise this ship again.

We love this ship and it's present crew. Kudos to the Captain, his staff and the crew of Carnival Sunshine!!!!!

Lovely relaxing cruise. Enjoy the fact that once on the ship everything I need is right there. Wish there was a nonsmoking casino like on other ships but it did keep me from spending to much

This was our first cruise and certainly not our last! I cannot wait until our next one! I did get a bit of stomach flu the last night which was a bummer and I’m not sure if it was something I ate but overall! I will do it all again!!!!

My 1st cruise experience was well above expectations. Breath taking.

This was my first time cruising with carnival so I was definitely paying attention to detail and comparing my previous experience. It was an amazing experience. It was even better that we didn't have to drive 8 hours down to West Palm. The drive for us was less than 3 hours.

So much fun we are going back in May! Love the 80s vibe and the older crowd. Much more enjoyable and pleasant.

Overall we enjoyed our 5 day cruise. First sea day the waters were choppy. Didn’t get seasick, so I guess the sea bands worked. Loved the amount of trivia games onboard. It wasn’t that way 2 years ago. The staff couldn’t have been more pleasant. My wish for the Sunshine would be to improve the quality of the food. My other complaint was how cold the ship was. Will probably cruise on the Sunshine again, just won’t be in the winter.
