Loved the food, staff and room. At capacity, there are just too many people.
Embarkation
4 out of 5
Embarkment is a little different. The area where you are processed is a short bus ride away from the ship itself. The process was quick and pretty well organized, but still a little off from any other port we have visited in the past.
Ship experiences
Food and Dining
4 out of 5
Still the best part of the cruise!! I think Carnival is still trying to get it's feet underneath them post-Covid but the effort was solid. Not sure how a cruise ship could run out of Pina Colada mix...but it happened.
RedFrog Rum Bar

Best bar on the ship!!
Onboard Activities
3 out of 5
The activities were there, but the ship design and passenger capacity worked against this. The comedy club was MUCH too small and horribly designed. About 20% of the seating was to the side of the stage with zero visibility of the entertainer. Their are monitors set up there with the entertainer being shown. The piano bar was tiny compared to the people who wanted to enter and enjoy.
Entertainment

The shows were really good and we enjoyed them!

Extremely hard working and courteous staff! Best in the business!!
Ship Quality
1 out of 5
It took us over a day to be able to get around the ship. Very different design. We sailed at capacity and it is readily apparent that this number is easily 400-500 too many. Maybe more. Lines everywhere and if many of the entertainment venues are just way too small for the ships population. While Charleston is convenient to us, we will make the trip to Florida before we sail Sunshine with the current capacity numbers. There are two pools onboard. One is very small, the other is tiny.
Cabin / Stateroom

Sugeng was our attendant and was the BEST!
Ship tip
Get to your venue early. Get your deck chair early. Forget about the pools.
