Review summary

This is my 5th or 6th carnival cruise.I was very disappointed that nothing was said about us missing the whole day on the 2nd. I feel that I should be compensated in some way for the one day that was missed.I didn't understand that wasn't anything said about losing that day.

I don’t know if y’all realize how crazy it actually was. We got to the port at 6pm and didn’t get on the ship until after 11pm. It was just a series of different lines for 5 hours. There was no water or bathrooms. Someone even passed out in the security line and needed an ambulance. As soon as we made it on board, they stopped food until after the drill. We didn’t get to finally eat until after midnight. It was hard—especially on the kids and elderly. It would have been nice if they had given us something, even if it was a free drink or photo. Really anything to say we know it was an unfortunate situation and we value you. We paid for 5 days and got 4. We missed an entire day. No one was upset with Carnival for the delay. We are so thankful they were able to help the passenger. It just could have been handled better after that. They knew far in advance. They could have had water brought to us. Even if they had to pay to have it delivered. They could have shown everyone what real customer service looks like. It just really hurt my heart that they (the company not the ship) really disappointed me.

Its a shame someone's medical emergency delayed your vacation a couple of hours, how inconsiderate of them.....now imagine yourself being a family member of the medical emergency and no body caring of what has happened to you or your loved one, only that they were delayed of the their vacation.....

I can understand. Not the cruise lines fault but not your fault. If you paid for a certain number of days you should get what you paid for.

Care to explain what happened? Did the ship miss a stop, did the ship sail out late? What exactly was the issue?
