Embarkation

Due to a medical emergency on the previous sailing we were unable to board until late (a little after 10 p.m.). It was extremely chaotic, but we manage to unpack our patience to get through it, besides things could've been worse. Sending prayers to the family that loss their loved one.

Guy's Burger Joint, BlueIguana Cantina, JiJi Asian Kitchen, and Cucina del Capitano were excellent! The buffet was hit or miss, but overall on most days, it was pretty good.
Onboard Activities

Bingo was a lot of fun. The fitness center was great, and always clean. The casino was lively, but the smoking was tough to bear at times, so I did have to leave periodically, to get some fresh air.
Entertainment

The "Latin Nights" stage show is a definite must-see. The singers and dancers were phenomenal!

Our Stateroom Steward Noervi was great! He knew our names after the first day, and made sure we had everything we needed. We were very well taken care of. I will say, that on one particular sea day, there was a bartender at the Havana Bar, that was not very pleasant, aside from that, everyone else was a wonderful!
Ship Quality

The Carnival Sunshine is one of my favorite ships, but to be honest it is showing signs of wear and tear. The rooms need updating, as well as the stair handrails had the feeling of a sticky residue. I think it could definitely use a little touch up.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was a good size for two people. The beds/bedding were very comfortable, I slept like a baby. The cabin decor needs updating, but overall the room was very clean and tidy.
We did the "Nassau Walking Tour" Excursion. Jolecia, our Tour Guide, was amazing! She was very pleasant, and kept the group laughing and upbeat. It was a phenomenal tour, from the Queen's Staircase to Fort Fincastle. The tour felt very safe throughout all parts of the city. Highly recommended!
Disembarkation was very unorganized. There has to be an easier way to manage this process. I hope Carnival comes up with a better way to navigate this in the near future.
