Review summary

My husband did not like the ship, I did. I would take this cruise again. Like the 8 days. Next time we get assigned seating and play the tables in the afternoon or as soon as the casino is open for business on port days.

A little long. Had priority as a suite guest but did not get in the room until 1:30.

We had an Ocean suite and the room was only serviced once a day. First time on Carnival in awhile. Perhaps once a day is the new norm. Wait staff in the dining room was very good. Our room steward was very personable and did a thorough job.

Loved the size. Lots of storage, good TV, refrigerator and good layout The step into the bathroom and the tub was very high and difficult for anyone with limited motion. The bathroom tile floor was badly patched and needed some TLC . Everything was in good working order.

Ship tip

Get to the casino tables early in order to get a seat. if you do not like variable wait times for a dining table, suggest you do not go with open seating.

Disembarkation

Since the escalator in the terminal was broke and only 1 elevator available, the disembarkation was painfully slow. This was not explained to the people waiting past the disembark times.

I did "your time" dining once and hated it. Some nights the wait was over an hour. Early dining is great...lots of time to think about shows after.
