Some of the bar tenders were rude. They acted like they were put out to get your drink order. The staff at the main dining room were awesome. They went above and beyond.

Many of the staff on the boat did not seem to know what was going on. We would be told one thing on the papers we were given and then different things depending on who we asked. It seemed very disorganized.

I am not sure what was directly above our cabin but we were not able to get any sleep the entire cruise. I think it might have been the buffet because it sounded like big carts or something dragging right above us all night. We could even hear it over our earplugs.
Ship tip
Do not stay on deck 8. Also do not drink the coffee, it is awful. Do yourself a favor and pay a little extra for the coffee on deck 5 by the casino.
Been sailing with CCL for quite some time and our first Sunshine Cruise will be in 39 days. We will have a GREAT time because we have decided to have a GREAT time.
I loved Magic, even more than Vista. I am going on Sunshine in April so will have more to compare. Basically, I am going to have a great time because I am on a cruise to somewhere!!
Yes...to both. Aruba: can't comment on beach. We did a great excursion to see the island. Can't remember the vendor. I can look if you like.
Bonaire: we rented a golf cart and had a great day. There,are plenty of beaches all over in Bonaire.
No...all the same height, just different courses. Very doable. I am not in the best shape and was something like 58 when I did them. Plan to do, again, in March and I'll be 61 by then.
Do your homework before you pick a cabin and you won’t be up all night. Havana Bar is my favorite place on the entire ship. Been on Sunshine twice and love her.!!
sastewart72 - we loved the ship and all it has to offer. Have not been pleased with MDR service or food (cold, poor quality, etc). Because of that, we will take advantage of other dining options on our upcoming cruise. And no, we are not super picky or food snobs. We learned that when they did the refurb and added @800 passenger capacity, they did not increase the size of the gallery of the number of MDR crew. Recipe for dissatisfied cruisers, if you ask me.
So sorry to see your experience. We will be on the Sunshine in 10 days. I can only hope for a better experience. We have been checking out all the reviews for months. The reviews have been way more positive than negative. Hopefully our experience will be positive.
Generally our opinion. on the Sunshine, too. But, we are doing another on the Sunshine (3rd on Sunshine, but 20th overall) March 2018.
