Review summary

Buffet and entertainment was terrible .Dining room was,fantastic .Employees were very friendly and good but not so sure we will choose Carnival again.Very disappointed in lack of entertainment during sea days and the lido deck buffets

Sunshinel9ver you obviously have never been on another ship to compare the sunshine with.Not a happy person? Just not happy with the last cruise.You on the other hand seem to have the attitude problem putting down anyone on this forum that wasn't happy .

I just came off the Sunshine on the 17th & the entertainment was anything but terrible. They have an awesome entertainment staff who can sing really well & the shows were amazing! Epic Rock was my favorite overall but Latin Night & the Holiday Show were also fun shows.

sunshinel9er - ...or you just love being critical... REALLY? You don't know me. I love cruising and ALWAYS love my cruises. That doesn't mean there can't be areas of disappointment. Were you on the 11-day reposition from New Orleans to Port Canaveral? I was. That was my first Sunshine experience. MDR service was indifferent and unprofessional. Carnival added 800+ passenger capacity yet failed to expand crew or galley. End result - disappointed passengers. Christmas 2016 was my 2nd Sunshine cruise and my 17th cruise overall. Again, MDR problematic: my dinner was cold - cold, not cool or warm - 4 out of 6 nights we ate in MDR. That said, I enjoy the ship, amenities, cabin, etc. Disappointed is a far cry from critical. By the way, I do hope to never have the displeasure of meeting you or anyone as quick to pass uninformed judgement as you. HAPPY CRUISING!

Sounds about right to me. Been on Sunshine twice now - 1st time was 11 days and 2nd time was 8 days. Disappointed both times. HOWEVER, giving it one final try this March. Hoping for a fabulous time.

Sounds like you are not a very happy person. Have sailed on the Sunshine twice and love her. So much to do and many different dining venues!!!
