Again the staff were very good, the entertainment excellent and excursions good. It is a shame that the ship itself does not lend itself to comfortable cruising. We were packed in like sardines in the Lido area and the lounge chairs on the third floor were not available until late in the morning and then promptly removed at 5PM for some mysterious reason. That is often the best time to sit on the decks. To say I was disappointed is putting it mildly.

Food was good but was not warm in the main dining room. At the buffet the food was good and it was warm. The burger specialty service was especially good.

The pool was too small for the number of people. The hot tubs were like people soup. The kids should not be allowed in the hot tubs. They took away common space to make room for more state rooms. Even the Atrium was too small. Standing room only when they had entertainment there.
With all the lounge chairs packed so close together, we felt like sardines.

The common areas are too small for the number of people. There are no kiosks for dirty glasses and plates and people just left them where ever. They were on the stair wells , on the decks and under the chairs. The staff could not clean them because there were so many people around. I have never been on a cruise before with so little space in the LIdo level. Clearly, profit was the main goal of Corporate Carnival and not the comfort and enjoyment of the passengers.
Cabin / Stateroom

The cabin was clean and well maintained. The shower curtain was too short so the whole bathroom floor got wet when the shower was used no matter how you positioned the curtain. Clearly, saving money was the main objective instead of a shower curtain that fit.
Ship tip
Try the burgers at the burger stand and also the food at the Mexican food stand was very good.
The last time I cruised on the sunshine I previously read about it and some folks complained about the same thing you mentioned. When I went on the cruise I had absolutely no problem getting a chair on the lido deck or anywhere else and even if I did I would still have a great time because I don't sweat the small stuff.
