I've traveled all over but never via cruise ship. Can't wait to do another. Loved disconnecting from every day life. This was the first time in 20 years that I didn't travel with a laptop computer to get work done while away. I also didn't purchase an internet plan for my phone. It was basically just used to communicate with my fiance and take pictures.

The buffets and included sit down dinners were nothing to write home about. The steakhouse and Chef's Table on the other hand, were exceptional.

For the amount of time you're in your cabin, it's all you need. No sense in wasting money on balconies or suites, in my opinion. You want a balcony? Go outside...they're everywhere.

The Carnival Sunshine was a fantastic experience overall. Looking forward to my next voyage!
First off, I'm not one for beaches. I didn't care so much about the ports. This vacation was more about getting away and doing NOTHING connected to work for a week. Grand Turk was not as "gorgeous" as I'd heard. Seemed very impoverished and "dirty" from what we saw.
Which is why l love cruising! No time share presentations and I can ignore the up sale items. Even my dentist, optometrist offices and cell apps upsale.
