Review summary

Unorganized and lengthy arrival and departing the ship. Not enough activities or showtime options. Food was never seasoned. Even the popcorn for the dive in movie was blan. Servers were friendly. Photos was horribly over priced and they didn't offer any package deals. Hated how long it took to get a drink with both kinds of drink packages that was prepurchased. Rooms were really small compared to other cruise ships I have been on. Teens were able to get drinks some how on the ship even though they were carding people they felt looked under age instead of everyone. We saw numerous teens in the night clubs leaving with us but they looked older than my husband and myself. It made the night club outings seem a little sleazy instead of classy. Going back to Royal Caribbean from now on.

On some cruises if you have parents permission you can drink 18 or older because there not in the U.S.

Some people don't look their age. They do a lot of carding on cruise ships. I get carded all the time and I'm almost 30.

Me and my wife have been on the splendor twice and on the sunshine last October AND going on the sunshine again this August and the only thing I agree with is that the popcorn on both ships was really dry and bland BUT it is free so I guess you can complain only so much. As for the room size all of our rooms were balconies which are decent sized but I'm sure the interior rooms like the one I had on my very first cruise on the NCL Gem are tiny but that's why they're the cheapest. Yeah photos are expensive but at least you can take as many as you like for free and only buy what you like if any. I'm sure photos are pricey on all cruises.

shortzia!! Sounds like you were looking for problems as soon as you boarded. I don't see any previous cruises listed for you...Carnival staff is the best on the seas. Food not seasoned? They have salt and pepper on each table. Stop complaining!!!!! Try smiling. It is very easy to do.ðððð

if you check you will find carnival rooms are usually larger than others for the same class

Great stay with Royal, it should be real quiet in the clubs for u. i hear everything shuts down at 10pm
