Review summary

We loved the cruise. The staff on the Carnival Sunshine is amazing. These people are sincere about making sure you are happy. We had a great time. The food was great and the ship was awesome. There just is not a lot to do that is real fun in the Bahamas as far as vacations go. It was scary to get off of the ship because of the announcements when we ported reminding us that we were in a foreign country and to be careful. It make you think twice before leaving the ship. We would definitely do it again. Just would want to maybe go to a different port. Cruising is the best. You don't have to worry about anything but chillaxin'!!

the bahamas is amazing if you know where to go. freeport- take a 10$ dollar round trip taxi to grand lucayan hotel. 30 gets u access to their Wi-Fi, beach, and facilities. right next door is memories which charges 80per person for the same things including alcohol. directly across from the hotels is a strip mall with local foods and gift shops. we always eat their. worth the try. nassau- if you have never been to Atlantis GO. but dont book threw the cruise go on your own. cheaper. and its not unsafe. people stop being so scary and venture out! if u have already done Atlantis then take the #10 bus to the other side if the island. theirs a strip of all inclusive hotels that give day passes tonuse their resort and DRINK. we did Breezes resort last year. 60 per person. the bus is 1.50per person. if you eant local food take a cab to the FISH MARKET AREA and eat at TWIN BROTHERS or any of the 20 something restaurants in that area. take a chance on the Bahamas u will find its worth it

Loved the Sunshine and all the crew so much!!! We went for Memorial Day weekend out of Charleston to the Bahamas. We did the Thermal Suite package and Cheers package so we didn't leave the ship. We've been before on a few occasions so it didn't bother us not to get off.
