Review summary

I am a gold VIFP member with Carnival so I am not a newbie to cruising or Carnival but I believe that this will be my last cruise with Carnival. The ship condition, guest relations, wait staff, food quality, and entertainment options have all gone way down. This might be with all companies but defiantly with Carnival. To top it off, we accidently left out dirty clothes laundry bag in our cabin and the post cruise experience is awful. There is no one from Carnival interested in talking to you about any post cruise issues and the company that handles lost and found is even worse. Needless to say as of this review a month and a half later we have still not recovered hundreds of dollars of clothes that we let behind. In my option these items should have been found and returned by now. It was lest in a locked cabin. No question who they belong to and should have be an easy locate and return.

Lets say a lack of activates. Probably caused by staff shortage, I was disappointed in what was available especially during sea day

Stage shows were sub par. Musicians about par and DJ know how to hit play but no MC talent to get people entertained

Many places around the ship showed signs of its age. Rust, broken items and the windows were filthy. Some so bad you could see through them

They have such a short time to get the ship ready for the next sailing, that I think a laundry bag full of dirty clothes is either going in the trash or lumped in with the sheets and towels to get laundered. And once it gets to the laundry service with no tag, it'll go in the trash. I worry that I'll forget my passport or wallet.

Appreciate your feedback. As far as your “laundry bag” left behind. If it’s difficult to locate it might be because of the type of bag. We use a plain plastic bag that might look like a trash bag. There are people who throw a bag of clothes away at the end of a cruise (I personally can’t imagine doing that). Hope yours wasn’t considered something to be thrown away and you get it returned.

I hope Carnival can get back on track. I know they are hurting from the pandemic but maybe they'll rebound some day.
