This was a very good vacation for only being a 5 day cruise! The boat was very nice and the staff was great!
Embarkation

Embarkation was good. We did have to wait in line in the hot Miami heat for about a half hour, but that is no fault to carnival. The port just didn’t have inside space. After we got on the cruise our experience was great. Carnival had food ready for us and the DJ was playing great music which brought us right to the pool with yummy drinks in our hands. The staff can right over to us to assure we had everything we needed.

Food and Dining

Our ships main dining room was great! We had an amazing server Francis and his assistant every night! I would go back on this ship again just for them! The main dining room menu changed every night so you felt like you were always going somewhere new. The staff made us feel comfortable and matched our sense of humor. Since the dining room menu was so good, we did not end up going to specialty restaurants. The buffet was also pretty good but was a bit small. With that being said, everything was delicious, clean and fresh!
Onboard Activities

Some of the onboard activities we did were the pool every day of course, the fitness center which was very clean and in great condition, comedy shows, bingo, love and marriage show and vintage music show. They were all great! The cruise director Jake really made it easy to find the shows and help us have a good time with everything the ship has to offer.
Entertainment

Musicians and DJ’s were great! The DJ by the main pool made it hard to leave since he played such trending music and fun mixes.

Service and Staff

Service and staff on this ship were AMAZING. Our waiter in the main dining room (Sunshine) every night was Francis and his assistant. They were great and always took care of us! Francis always have us his best recommendations which were always on point. Our room steward was Maha. He was also great. Our room looked good as new every morning thanks to him. He replaced our towels and took care of everything that needed to be done! We loved his towel animals every morning! Our bar server was Bambang who always made sure we had a drink in our hands! He attended to our every needed and was hilarious. He was definitely one of our favorite parts of our vacation!
Ship Quality

Ships layout and design were ok. It was very difficult to navigate since you have to go up or down to avoid walking through some restaurants. Other than that, the ship was spotless and very well maintained.
Cabin / Stateroom

Our stateroom was very comfortable but a little on the smaller side. We were barely in there of course so it isn’t my main concern. But to put it in perspective, we had no room to open our suitcases. Our room was VERY clean but our balcony needed some updating it seems.
Ship tip
Buy the drink package, it’s worth it!!!!! Also bring snacks on board with you if possible. I’m a person that looks for chips or something similar and could not find that on board!
Disembarkation was a bit unoraganized and delayed. This only worried me because we had a flight to catch. Carnival had food and restaurants open for anyone who was hungry.
I agree about there being no snacks available. There is plenty of food but no munchies. I learned a long time ago to pack some snacks (chips, cookies, granola bars, etc.). Thanks for the review.
