Just returned from a family vacation on the Carnival sunrise we had an awesome time. Ship is beautiful and very easy to navigate. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Entertainment was very good. Overall food was good was always able to find something to eat. Would definitely cruise the Sunrise again

Overall food was good. Could be a hit-or-miss but was always able to find something to eat. Had a birthday celebration at Steakhouse food was excellent.

There was always something going on to participate in from trivia, to water slide, seminars, mini golf and pools. There will also be themed parties from the white parties to 80s night etc.

The cruise director Chris "The Flying Scotsman" was amazing very entertaining and personable along with his fun Squad. The playlist production entertainers for excellence Soul bound was a great show.
Service and Staff

All staff we encountered was very friendly and helpful. Room stewart Putu was very accommodating and remembered our names after the first day. With a party of 11 dining room staff was excellent with waiters Lamberto Dominic and Luis.
Ship Quality

The sunrise is very beautiful and easy to navigate, always saw staff cleaning. The only con would be the layout of the lido marketplace. It can get very congested during dining times and there will be lines but with a little patience it was manageable. Never had a problem finding seats as upstairs was the Italian restaurant that had extra seating.
Cabin / Stateroom

We had an Ocean Suite on Deck seven room 7273. Room was very spacious and balcony was great with two chairs and a lounger.
Ship tip
Finding the Limelight lounge can be tricky you have to go through the casino on Deck 5 and use the right side staircase, than go down to deck four.
