Review summary

The experience as a whole was underwhelming. The ship was dirty, the food wasn’t good, aside from our servers at dinner and staff at the kids club, the staff seemed unhelpful at best. There were no diapers available for sale on the ship. We were set to have an8:15 dinner which didn’t work with our small kids. We requested to be moved to the 6pm seating on our first day. On day 2 a paper was slid under the door moving us to the anytime dining room for a 5:30 seating. When I complained and requested keeping my 8:15 dinner time I was told that my table had already been given away even though we DID NOT want a 5:30 seating. In fact we were told that 6pm had been booked a year in advance and was never an option for us. If we had been told that initially we would have suffered through our 8:15 dining time.

Embarkation

Everything was rushed. The entrance wasn’t made special, and we boarded the ship not knowing how we even access our rooms.

Ship experiences

Food and Dining

2 out of 5
The food was ok at best. The buffets were awful. The traffic patterns made it nearly impossible to navigate with children. The lines were extremely long for everything and all of the tables not in use were dirty. It took two attempts to even understand how ordering worked at the pasta restaurant. Our servers for dinner were the one shining star of the dining experience.

Onboard Activities

2 out of 5
The pool was busy but nice. The ropes course was small and closed most of the time due to “winds”. The mini golf course was not stocked with balls or anyone working and there were dirty dishes and glasses on the ground.

Entertainment

2 out of 5
We didn’t enjoy much and especially disliked having to walk through the very smoky casino to get to anywhere.

Children's Programs

3 out of 5
The staff at the kids club were wonderful although the process for signing kids in/out was tedious. I was also disappointed that the kids club closed for workshops during the day which cost additional money.

Service and Staff

4 out of 5
Our waiters Adi and Remika were wonderful. They truly made the trip for us!

Ship Quality

1 out of 5
The common areas were filthy. Having to walk through the smoke-filled casino to get places was awful, and the layout to get food on the Lido deck was atrocious to the point that we avoided it as much as possible. The lines were extremely long and the floors very slippery with almost no space to get around the lines.

Cabin / Stateroom

3 out of 5
The balcony was not nice/clean. We were supposed to be able to have adjoining balconies with the other stateroom in our party, but were unable due to a metal beam. The door and latch for the balcony door did not work properly. The bathroom smelled.

Ship tip

You cannot buy diapers anywhere onboard the ship

Ports of call

King's Wharf, Bermuda

4 out of 5
It was beautiful but travel to go places on the island was time consuming

Grand Turk Island

3 out of 5
The beaches right near the ship were not nice and rocky (in the water)

Disembarkation

1 out of 5
There was nowhere to go once we were required to leave our stateroom and before we were allowed to disembark. In addition in order to get tags to leave in the earlier time slot you needed to fight other passengers with no help from staff.
