For the price I paid last minute, this was a steal and an amazing trip. Better than my 2019 trip to Alaska where I splurged to go on Royal Princess with an Aft facing balcony. Wish I knew back then that I could spend more on excursions and less on the ship experience and still have an amazing time. 2 totally different experiences but an absolute steal for what I paid.

Normal waiting, took shuttle from airport, that was disorganized but once you got to the terminal it was very organized. Showed ArrivCan like 100 times. Funny story we never made it to Canada.

If you ever sailed Carnival it's edible. My teenage son didn't like anything. I found some good dishes mainly in MDR.

Boring, enclosed pool deck was too hot to stay in there long. Movie were played there ping pong and hot tubs. Better to watch the beautiful Alaskan scenery outside.

Ship tip
Don't focus on the ship, basic amenities. I used it for transportation, hotel and restaurant, while visiting beautiful Alaska.
Boring long day, only highlight was the Tlingt cultural center but this was 45 minute presentation tops. Should have purchased a whale watch tour. I heard it's the best there.
Would give 5 stars but we left too early. Did the Mendenhall glacier and whale watch excursion. Mendenhall glacier was beautiful and fun, got to see 3 whales and naturalist was very informative on whale watch with Whale Tales. Not enough time at glacier and not enough time to explore downtown, good thing I've explored downtown in 2019.
