Review summary
A big cheer to Leon, our Cruise Director. He was a great entertainment by himself. He very often kept the Carnival fun cruisin' along. My wife and I loved the charm of this ship. If someone is telling you that the Splendor is old and showing age, ignore them. We loved our Mexican Riviera cruise on the one and only Carnival Splendor.Embarkation

The Pinnacle Steakhouse
Paid extra. Not that memorable an experience. Took some leftover steak back to our cabin.
The Grille
Grabbed a Reuben sandwich here while on Lido deck overlooking the sea.
The Gold Pearl Restaurant
Sale-day brunch was a delicious meal here.
The Coffee Shop
A place to grab a quick cup of Starbucks-like coffee for a reasonable price.

All the restaurants served delicious food with great service.

The Fun Shops
Found some great souvenirs at one of the shops.
Serenity
Comfortable, but not that special, overall.
Tandoor
Ate some tasty Indian food.
Royal Flush Casino
A good place to hang out and have a smoke and a drink.
Entertainment
Spectacular Spectacular Main Lounge
Lots of seating. Easy to view the shows. Large stage and special effects made the shows interesting.
The Splendor Lobby and Atrium
Where all the fun could always be found. Frequent music by good bands. Activities were fun with Leon leading.
The Art Room
Great art to view and purchase. We purchased two paintings that we recently framed and hung in our house.

Always some fun and lots of music going on there.
