Review summary

Being on this cruise was like attending one gigantic LAME party. The activities were the worst. They have about 4 trivia games per day, bingo, silly Hasbro shipboard versions of board games, dance lessions (really...the Foxtrot!), and, of course, what EVERY cruise has, the Marriage Game! I felt like I was at a retirement home. Service was spotty...the attendants and servers were nice, however, the people in charge of disembarking at ports were the worst...non-smiling, gruff, and seemingly not caring about you having a good experience. The best part of the cruise was our room...we had a oceanview room which was quite roomy...we did not feel claustophobic. After a week, we spend most of our time in our room reading and relaxing...it was far better that coasting around on deck.

Nothing to do here except to go to Walmart to get supplies (soft drinks and macadamias). Better to rent a car and explore the rest of the island.

Sorry it sucked for you but most of the activities are standard fare on CCL ships-Not all of them for everyone but enjoyable for most. The dance lessons were 1st rate and well attended- a nice surprise on this trip. Merry Christmas

I skipped all the activities except punchliner. I was in the spa or my room or the food trough. Lol that was my own choice and I enjoyed EVERY MINUTE OF IT!

Sorry you didn't enjoy your cruise. Carnival isn't for everyone, try a different cruise line, do a little bit of research and choose one that might match what you require in a cruise a little bit better. I love Carnival, I like the activities that's offered. I always make sure I have a good time on my cruises. I start with a good attitude and a determination that no one is going to ruin it for me. I wish you best wishes on your next cruise and hopefully it will be the best cruise ever.

And just maybe he didnt have a good time. Why are yall si mad at him for his opinion. Everything isnt going to be great all of the time. Be grateful you had a good one. And the bashing comes off like being bullied. You can disagree without being so harsh. If it was so great all the time then why so many complaints at customer service?

We were on this same itinerary last year, but on the Miracle. It was so much fun for all 14 days. Hated for it to end. Maybe Cruising isn't for you.

How strange your review is. It makes zero sense. I took this cruise and I found so much to do! You must not like to do what is provided. I always had difficulty trying to figure out what to do when there was 2 or more things at the same time. Piano Bar, Production show, Karaoke or Comedy club at the same times!! The Love and marriage show is fun and it is never is the same twice. Different people. Seen it half a dozen times. I almost always have great service. Your cruise is what you make of it. If you decide you aren't having fun, then you won't. If you are grumpy and scowl at everyone they wont smile back. You get back what you give out

This review is silly. I was on this ship for the 14 day Hawaii cruise. PLENTY of things to do every single day besides trivia, bingo and dance lessons. Service was perfectly fine, if not better than some of my previous cruises. We actually thought the disembarking staff were very funny! They were singing to us and including peoples names in the songs as they were scanning. We are a younger couple (30, y.o. and 29 y.o.) and had an aft wrap balcony which was quite amazing...but even we didn't spend much time in our room or on our balcony. Lee, the cruise director was the best, easily, that we've had. He actually made a difference on this cruise for us. The activities aren't for everyone, especially if you're an introvert. But I don't understand how someone can go on any carnival cruise and NOT have a time to remember for the rest of their lives!
