Review summary

My first time cruising in the Pacific and enjoyed it very much. We had taken Royal Caribbean the last two trips because so many people told us it was better. We are back with Carnival to stay! So much more fun and we enjoy the dining options more. Would like to see a little more serving staff to avoid longer waits when serving food.

Food and selection was excellent. Food more accessible than previous two cruises with Royal Caribbean. I can't help but feel that the servers and dining room were understaffed a bit.

Onboard Activities

The two ladies that ran the coffee bar were excellent. Very friendly and professional, they knew my wife and I by name on 2nd visit and exactly what we wanted to order.

Entertainment

All shows were very entertaining and engaging. I cannot tell you enough that the cruise director MarQ was absolutely fabulous. This kid is a star and you're not paying him enough. This was our 10th cruise and I've never seen a cruise director with so much passion, energy and commitment. I know I sound like I'm a relative, but assure you I am not. Just that impressed and would even consider taking another cruise with him, if I knew his itinerary. Lastly, the dude is hilarious!! :)
