This was our first cruise ever and we are so glad we went with Carnival! We will be Carnival customers for life! We had an amazing time and felt very taken care of. I could not have imagined a better experience for our first cruise!

Main dining rooms and buffets were fantastic! There were plenty of selections at the buffet and the menu was different every night in the dining room. We ate at the pizza place, the deli, and the Indian buffet too and those were all great. The only critique I would have is the desserts in the dining room could use some improvement.
The Coffee Shop

This coffee shop had the best cheesecake! Super affordable too. I got a slice every day after I discovered it :D

The activities were good...we kind of ran out of interesting things to do on sea days. We went to the dancing/singing shows, went to the casino, went to comedy nights...

Unfortunately, something was wrong with all of the hot tubs so they wouldn't get hot. They weren't able to fix it during our cruise.

Everyone was so friendly! As soon as we entered the ship it was just an entirely different world of kindness and service! Carnival doesn't amazing job making sure everyone's needs are met. Volodomyr, infra, and Carolina took care of us during dinner and we loved them! Requested them every night :D Katam took care of our stateroom and he was incredible as well

The design was a little funky for my taste but still super interesting to look at. It didn't hinder my experience at all. The ship was super clean and well maintained!
Cabin / Stateroom

Super clean, plenty of room, bed was comfy. I had read reviews about how small inside staterooms can be. But what we got was totally workable. We had plenty of room and would definitely get an inside stateroom again
Ship tip
Remember to bring pants and a sweater because areas of the ship can get cold. Also, make sure you bring dress attire for elegant night. A lot of people partake and you'll feel silly if you don't dress up at least a little bit.
We took a jeep around the island and visited the smaller Mayan ruins. This was my least favorite port only because the people there were not very nice. I felt like they were just trying to gouge me for money at every turn. I totally get that their job is to sell merchandise or activities bit the way in which it was done made me uncomfortable.
