Review summary
I love the Ports of Call but the overall ship was very disappointing. The decoration of the ship was my least favorite of any ship I have ever been on. Additionally, the food was average and there were always lines. I have traveled on several Carnival Cruises as well as other cruise lines and was surprised at the lack of cleanliness and service that was provided on this ship. This was my fiance's first cruise so I was excited to see how he would react but the service and lines were so bad that sometimes there was no way to enjoy our time. The worst thing was that we upgraded to the spa balcony package and the steam rooms and showers only worked during part of the cruise. I am not sure if I will travel with Carnival again. It is very disappointing considering I chose Carnival cruise Lines for my fiance's first cruise. In the end, the ports of call made it all worth it! We had a blast - although they did cancel two of them and change the time on a third. We just had to make the most of it and enjoy!
